Blackheads – High time we bid farewell

Blackheads – High time we bid farewell

The best gift you can give yourself is a healthy body and beautiful glowing skin. But beautiful skin doesn’t come easy, you have to work hard for it; I mean a lot of caring for your skin.

Beautiful skin cannot be gained just by a monthly or weekly visit to the parlor. You need to spend some time to take care of your skin on a daily basis.

Today, I want to draw your attention to one of the major skin problems- Blackheads and whiteheads. One of the surprising things rather a bad one is many of us don’t consider them as problem at all. The result is we work to fight other skin lesions like acne without focusing on the underlying problem.

Here I am giving some tips to get rid of blackheads and whiteheads in an easy way. As at the end of the day, it’s not possible to visit the parlor every now and then. Skin care becomes easy when you do it yourself and take charge of caring for your skin – sooner the better. Your skin will thank you, I promise.

How whiteheads and blackheads are formed?

As we all know our skin has pores known as pilosebaceous units (PSUs). The underlying layers of the skin have sebaceous glands that release natural oils like sebum onto the skin surface. Haven’t you noticed oily skin after waking up in the morning? Now you know where this oily substance comes from. While we should be thankful for our body to have skin caring mechanisms in place, its efficiency is affected by several factors including the environment we live in.

The blackheads/whiteheads develop when the sebum, skin, and hair form a plug in the hair follicle and the PSU becomes clogged. Bacteria are attracted to these clogged PSUs and the result is inflammation and beginning of acne lesion.

Charcoal – an easy way to get rid of blackheads

Some of the best beauty products are made of such natural ingredients that you might not land up using on the face otherwise. Case in point- Charcoal strips can do wonders for your skin. Many of you would wonder what role this dark and chalky material can play in your beauty routine. Not me, as from my own experiences I have come to know that charcoal can trap chemical and toxins in millions of its pores and help the skin get rid of them.

Activated charcoal is part of many beauty products like face masks, soaps, and cleaners due to its ability to absorb oil and debris from the skin. So have no doubt. It can really help your skin get rid of toxins and make it look clean, radiant, and younger.

Common and annoying, whiteheads and blackheads are worrisome naggings for a lot of us. But they are fairly ordinary problems that can be taken care of by using charcoal strips. Monthly beauty treatments at parlors are not going to make much difference to your blackheads problems, it’s time to grab that blackhead removal strip and get of rid of unwanted blackheads by taking simple steps towards your daily skin care.
